Job summary

Glendalepac in Glendale, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with current state and federal standards, and as directed by supervisors.

You will monitor vital signs, assist with dressing wounds, collect lab samples, document progress, and report changes promptly. The role requires excellent communication with residents and families, CPR/BLS certification, and an LVN license in good standing.

Qualifications

• Completion of LVN training from accredited school or college.
• Valid LVN license in good standing.
• Valid CPR and BLS card.
• IV Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all nursing care is provided in privacy.
• Checking vital signs.
• Dressing wounds.
• Inserting catheters.
• Listening to residents and their families.
• Addressing questions/concerns of residents.
• Performing accurate and detailed charting of resident progress notes.
• Timely reporting of change in resident’s condition to the nurse supervisor.
• Assisting and supervising CNAs.
• Ensuring equipment is in good operating order.
• Monitoring residents that are at risk for falls.
