Job summary

Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join the Medical-Surgical Floor on a per diem basis. The LVN provides hands-on patient care, supports RNs, and helps patients recover from surgery while ensuring comfort and safety during day shifts.

You will work under supervision of a Registered Nurse, maintain current BLS and IV certification at hire, and meet the unit's standards for quality care.

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Medical Surgical Floor

Location: Knapp Medical Center - Weslaco, TX

Per Diem | Days | 12‑Hour Shifts

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays an important role at our hospital by providing hands‑on care to patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic or acute illnesses, or undergoing diagnostic procedures. Working alongside RNs, physicians, and other healthcare team members to provide patient care on our hospital's medical‑surgical (Med‑Surge) unit, LPNs focus on assisting with patient care and ensuring comfort and safety. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/PRN as needed.
