Job summary

Heritage Manor Care is seeking licensed LVNs to join our skilled nursing team in California. You will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing tasks performed by nursing assistants.

We are looking for LVNs to work all shifts, full-time or part-time, with opportunities to collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure a high standard of resident well-being and comfort.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current California Nursing License (LVN) and be eligible to practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families.
• Ability to work closely with nursing assistants and physicians to provide quality care.

Responsibilities

• Complete and file charts and physician orders.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Make rounds with physicians as requested.
• Orient and welcome new residents and families.
• Answer call lights and provide nursing assistance.
• Participate in and make recommendations for care plans.
