Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for the Mechanical Circulatory Support Service (LVAD) at the Main Campus. The role includes hospital rounds, outpatient visits, and occasional local facility travel to care for LVAD patients in a fast-paced, complex environment.

The successful candidate will be nationally certified as an APRN/NP or PA, hold RN licensure, and practice per state regulations with a focus on health promotion, disease

Qualifications

• MSN required upon hire or within 3 years for external hires and internal hires moving from a non-APRN licensed role to an APRN licensed role.
• Graduate of an accredited APRN program.
• If in neonatal care service area Master’s Degree is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough histories and exams; develop diagnostic plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Prescribe and monitor medications per state licensure and Cleveland Clinic policies.
• Participate in medical rounds and coordinate care with nursing and other specialists.
