Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Current New York State license and registration as an RN.
• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner certification and registration OR NCCPA certification.
• Three years of clinical experience in a highly specialized cardiac care program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and educates VAD patients and families.
• Manages comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for VAD patients.
• Ensures adherence to established protocols and program requirements.
• Participates in remote on-call coverage for ~4 shifts per month with emergency transplant/LVAD hotline management.
