Job summary

Whyte & Mackay in Texas seeks a Single Malt Specialist to champion The Dalmore, Fettercairn and Jura in-market, driving brand presence in luxury retail and on-premise channels.

You will develop distributor partnerships, lead tastings and trainings, manage events, and push rare whisky allocations while building lasting customer relationships across Texas.

This role requires deep luxury spirits knowledge, 5+ years in US premium spirits, and a Bachelor’s degree; WSET certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with super premium spirits in the US market, TX experience.
• WSET Level 2 or CSS certification preferred or in process within 6 months.
• Bachelor’s degree as stated in qualifications.
• Strong marketing, brand-building and execution planning.
• Digital marketing and social media proficiency.
• Event management experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as face of The Dalmore, Fettercairn and Jura in Texas.
• Develop distributor partnerships and maximise brand programming.
• Identify third-party partnerships to reach consumer targets.
• Drive consumer activation and tastings; manage social channels.
• Sell rare whisky allocations to outlets and collectors.
