Description

This position is responsible for effectively promoting and selling luxury water toys to potential customers, playing a significant role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base. This open position will specifically be tasked with growing and servicing high-end yacht toy sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Prospecting: Identify and engage potential customers. Generate new sales leads through various methods.
  2. Sales Objectives: Consistently achieve and surpass sales targets and objectives. Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
  3. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing expert advice and quality service.
  4. Product and Market Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of water toys, including price, stock levels, features, specifications, and benefits. Stay informed about market trends and competitor products.
  5. Consultative Selling: Utilize a consultative approach to understand customer needs and recommend suitable water toys options. Deliver persuasive and informative presentations to highlight the advantages of our water toys that best fit their desired use. Maintain detailed records of sales activities and updates.
  6. Demonstrations: Arrange and conduct water toys demonstrations and lessons, specifically for products such as electric hydrofoils, electric jet boards, sea scooters, kayaks, SUPs, and more.
  7. Quoting and Pricing: Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for customers and assist customers with sales contracts as well as other necessary paperwork. Negotiate sales terms effectively, including pricing, financing, and delivery.
  8. Customer Support: Provide comprehensive support throughout the sales process as well as post-sale follow-ups, future prospecting communications, and any service or warranty assistance.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and management to ensure clear communication and a healthy work environment. Strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
  10. Travel: Attend boat shows and industry events as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred).
  • Experience in sales, preferably in the luxury, marine, and/or boating industry.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Customer/service-centric approach with excellent communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in sales software and CRM tools.
  • Flexibility for weekend work and travel.
  • Ethical sales practices.
  • Boating and marine industry knowledge is advantageous.

Position Type:

This is a full-time position, with potentially additional hours based on seasonal demand and business hours.
