Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Visual Associate to create an exciting in-store visual environment, merchandise floors, and prepare mannequins per visual standards. You will support all visual initiatives and assist in trunk shows and events.

The role requires at least 2 years of visual team experience in a major department store, proficiency with MS Office and design tools, and knowledge of fashion trends. An employee discount and comprehensive benefits accompany a dynamic luxury retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years visual team experience in a major multi-level department store.
• Ability to use carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
• Experienced in painting techniques.
• Experience with basic production, knowledge of materials.
• Experienced in styling and fashion pulls.
• Strong knowledge of current fashion and art trends.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Photoshop, Illustrator is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate initiative and a sense of urgency in selling floor readiness before store opening.
• Follow directives and corporate guidelines from Visual Manager and Corporate Visual team.
• Execute all aspects of promotional and sale set-up including presentation, lettering, signage; assist with trunk shows and personal appearance set-ups.
• Assist in replenishing merchandise on selling floor and wall units.
• Ad hoc responsibilities as needed
