Neiman Marcus in San Diego seeks a Visual Associate to craft an engaging in-store visual environment under the Visual Manager’s guidance. You will merchandize the floor, create compelling window displays, and dress mannequins to meet established visual standards.

You will implement promotions, signage, and trunk shows, replenish floor stock, and support the Visual team in timely execution. A portfolio showing at least two years of department-store visuals is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years visual team experience in a major multi-level department store.
• Ability to use carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
• Experience with painting techniques.
• Experience with basic production and knowledge of materials.
• Experience in styling and fashion pulls.
• Strong knowledge of current fashion and art trends.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Photoshop, Illustrator preferred.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate initiative and urgency in “selling floor readiness” before store opening.
• Follow directives and corporate visual guidelines.
• Execute promotional and sale setups including presentation, lettering and signage; assist trunk shows and personal appearance set-ups.
• Assist in replenishing merchandise on the selling floor and wall units.
• Ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
