Luxury Valet Garage Porter Job Description

We are looking for a Luxury Valet Garage Porter who loves to serve and provide exceptional hospitality at one of our most prestigious and luxurious hotels in Sarasota, Florida.

The associate will be responsible for controlling parking logistics at the property during the hours of 8am-5pm each day. They will guide employees into assigned parking areas, control keys for stacked vehicles, and move vehicles that block employees when needed. This position requires driving and the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.

Qualifications

Here are the qualifications to be a Valet Attendant with us:

• Must be at least 19 years of age, have a valid driver’s license for the last 3 years, and meet our MVR criteria.
• Must be capable of driving both auto and manual transmissions.
• Ability to jog to and from vehicle storage areas in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation, and exhibit a full range of motion including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, and crouching.
• Ability to stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
