Job summary

Baker Furniture in High Point, North Carolina is seeking an Inside Upholsterer / Trimmer to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on applying decorative nail trim and finishing details to high-end upholstered furniture while maintaining premium craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience with luxury furniture, expertise in trim applications, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. This is an in-person, full-time position with potential for overtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience with high-end or luxury furniture (Required).
Trimmer Experience: 2 years (Required).
Experience with decorative nail trim, brass trim, upholstery finishing, skirts and trim detailing.

Responsibilities

Apply decorative nail trim to upholstery using pneumatic nail guns and hand-driving techniques.
Perform finishing applications including bullion, tape, fringe, and skirts.
Inspect furniture pieces for readiness and quality before trim application.
Read production tickets and select trim materials and nail styles.
Collaborate with team to meet quality and production goals.
