Job summary

Hammitt Inc. is seeking a passionate Store Manager for our Carmel Plaza location. You will lead daily retail operations, drive sales performance, and mentor a high-performing team while cultivating strong customer relationships and a premium Hammitt experience.

You will oversee local marketing activations, manage inventory, and ensure a welcoming, luxury environment that reflects the Hammitt brand, values, and design heritage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of store leadership experience in premium/luxury fashion retail or lifestyle brands.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent hands-on leadership experience.
• Proven clienteling background with a loyal book of business.
• Tech-forward, comfortable with POS systems, social media, and e-commerce platforms.
• Clear, compelling communication skills in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Build and mentor a high-performing store team from the ground up.
• Drive top-line performance and store profitability by owning KPIs and sales strategies.
• Lead store activations, VIP events, and partnerships with local communities and influencers.
• Manage marketing calendar, seasonal launches, and gifts-with-purchase initiatives.
• Oversee visual merchandising, stock control, and showroom presentation.
• Deliver warm, personalized customer experiences and foster a welcoming store culture.
