Qualifications

• Current Tennessee Massage Therapist License in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program.
• Experience in a luxury resort, private club, destination spa, or high-end wellness environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, contraindications, and therapeutic bodywork.
• Excellent hands-on technique with adjustable pressure and style.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Warm, intuitive communication with high emotional intelligence.
• Understanding of guest privacy and professional boundaries.
• Availability for a flexible schedule including select weekends, holidays, and events.

Responsibilities

• Perform customized massage and bodywork treatments.
• Conduct consultations and tailor treatments to guest needs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in modalities (Swedish, deep tissue, therapeutic, restorative).
• Incorporate stretching, mobility, recovery techniques as appropriate.
• Maintain pristine treatment rooms to luxury standards.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and infection-control protocols.
• Protect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Educate guests on wellness, recovery, and self-care.
• Maintain knowledge of spa treatments, products, and services.
• Support spa events, member experiences, and wellness programming.
• Collaborate with therapists and spa leadership for seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation when required.
