Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current, valid state massage therapy license in good standing (state-specific licensing required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing massage and body treatments in a luxury spa or resort environment preferred.
• Massage therapist Certificate and strong knowledge of massage modalities, body treatments, and contraindications.

Responsibilities

• Perform massage and body treatments according to established treatment protocols and guest preferences.
• Greet guests warmly with a professional salutation, ensuring a welcoming and calming experience.
• Conduct guest consultations to assess physical well-being, preferences, and contraindications prior to treatment.
• Customize treatments as appropriate to meet individual guest needs while adhering to treatment guidelines.
• Explain treatment services, techniques, and benefits clearly and professionally.
• Educate guests on recommended home-care products and spa services; actively support retail sales initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and complete guest treatment records while ensuring strict confidentiality of all personal and medical information.
• Uphold sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards for treatment rooms, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and serene treatment environment and shared spa facilities.
• Participate in staff meetings, ongoing training, product knowledge sessions, and team initiatives.
