Job summary

Kravet LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Memo Librarian for our Washington, D.C. showroom. This entry-level, full-time role ensures the sample library runs efficiently and luxury fabrics are accessible to interior designers.

You will greet clients, handle sample requests, and support the Showroom Merchandiser with various duties to keep the space organized. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and are comfortable with Google Workspace, Excel and Word, plus inventory scanners.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; interior design exposure is a plus.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Excel and Word; ability to use inventory scanners.
• Strong verbal and written communication; polished professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill sample requests for showroom visits, phone orders and email inquiries.
• Maintain accurate sample room inventory and process memo shipments.
• Restock and manage returns; organize new product memos and stock.
• Keep the library organized and shelves condensed; support showroom goals.
• Greet clients at the memo desk and assist designers in person, on the phone or by email.
