Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Marin in San Rafael, CA is seeking an entry-level Service Porter. No automotive experience required; training provided. You’ll move vehicles, deliver loaners, keep lanes organized, and support advisors in a luxury dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Reliable and punctual support is essential to operations.
• Ability to handle luxury guests with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles throughout the service department—pulling cars into service bays, returning vehicles to guests, and repositioning inventory across the lot as directed.
• Deliver and retrieve loaner and courtesy vehicles for guests—representing Mercedes-Benz of Marin's hospitality standard in every handoff.
• Keep the service lane and lot organized, safe, and navigable throughout the day.
• Support service advisors and technicians with vehicle movement during peak hours and busy periods.
• Assist with basic vehicle prep as directed—fueling, washing, and staging vehicles for service or delivery.
• Inspect vehicles during movement and immediately report any visible damage or concerns to the appropriate team member.
