Job summary

The h.wood Group, a Los Angeles based lifestyle and hospitality company, is hiring a Server Assistant in New York to support our high‑end dining experience. You will assist servers, maintain pristine stations, and help deliver an elegant guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Open availability is preferred; candidates should be energetic, professional, and capable of working as part of a dynamic team while upholding cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid NY Certified Food Handlers card required.
• Must be 21+ years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
• Previous experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Able to stand for full shifts (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers with food and beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of stations, silverware, linen, condiments, and beverages.
• Wipe down booths, move tables/chairs, and clean floors as needed.
• Keep back of house clean and organized; ensure inventory is stocked.
• Communicate guest needs and incidents to management and team.
• Perform opening/closing duties and comply with health and safety regulations.
