Job summary

Coterie Senior Living - Cathedral Hill in San Francisco is seeking a courteous Server to provide an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure smooth operations at the dining room, while maintaining safety and hospitality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of server experience, a fine dining background, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience as a server; Fine Dining experience preferred.
• Food handling certificate where applicable.
• Alcohol awareness certificate where applicable.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Able to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers and/or employees.
• Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages and 21 to pour.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service at all times.
• Anticipate residents’ needs and respond promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of restaurant operations and dress code.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage Director/GM to satisfy residents.
• Set tables according to standards and serve meals and beverages.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items, prices, and presentation.
• Assist with events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Adhere to payment, cash handling, and POS procedures.
