Bergdorf Goodman in New York seeks a Sales Assistant to support the Personal Shopper, ensuring a polished client experience and seamless appointments. You will ring POS transactions, manage post-appointment follow-ups, and help organize calendars while upholding luxury service standards.

You will maintain precise client data, assist with digital selling and social media tasks, and support gifting initiatives for Top Clients, with an emphasis on discretion and superior service during evenings,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfort with luxury retail environment and client service.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Personal Shopper in preparing for and executing selling appointments.
• Ring transactions accurately at the POS.
• Complete all post-appointment follow-up tasks, including order tracking, managing alterations, and writing thank you notes.
• Help organize appointment scheduling and manage the Shopper’s calendar.
• Enter and maintain precise clientele information in Connect and at POS.
• Assist with Digital selling activities and maintaining a Social Media presence as directed.
• Support the organization of gifting initiatives and experiences for Top Clients in partnership with the PCR team.
• Ensure all unsold merchandise is efficiently returned to stock post-appointment.
• Ensure the cleanliness of fitting rooms by coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance services when necessary.
• Perform any additional duties and responsibilities, including projects, tasks, and activities as required to support the Personal Shopper and team.
