Job summary

Bergdorf Goodman, a New York luxury retailer, seeks a Support Associate to assist with stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandising handling to support store sales and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail experience required.
• Demonstrate flexibility with competing tasks.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office Product Suite.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 35 pounds.
• Associates must work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily store operations and help direct leads and managers.
• Merchandise handling, transfers, and processing of inbound/outbound freight.
• Fulfillment, packing and shipping of online and store customer orders.
• Complete necessary merchandise placements to ensure standards.
• Merchandise price changes and reticketing; signs and moves product when marked.
• Reticketing, damages, mark out of stocks and related inventory control processes.
• Back stock and stockroom organization and maintenance.
• Under supervision, merchandise product and set sale events and signage.
• Assist with setup and takedown of in-store events and activations.
• Follow all safety procedures on the dock and in all work areas.
