Job summary

Highgate Hotels, overseeing luxury resort operations at the Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas, seeks a dynamic Resort Manager to lead Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You will partner with the Managing Director to optimize department performance, coach leaders, and ensure alignment with brand standards and safety regulations. The role requires strategic oversight and proactive problem solving across all resort functions.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive operations experience in luxury resort properties, including Rooms, F&B, and Housekeeping.
• At least two years in a senior resort or hotel operations leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or Business; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and public-relations skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
• Ability to analyze operational and financial information to set priorities and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership of Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping to meet standards.
• Lead and develop Executive Committee and department heads; drive guest satisfaction and financial goals.
• Oversee hiring, performance management, and staff development.
• Conduct property walks and reviews; coordinate corrective action with leadership.
• Ensure compliance with Highgate standards, brand requirements, health and safety laws.
• Serve as senior resort leader during Managing Director absence and handle incidents.
• Support the Managing Director with strategic priorities and resort-wide initiatives.
