Job summary

Isla Bella Beach Resort is seeking an energetic, guest-focused bartender to join our Food & Beverage team in Marathon, FL. You will deliver exceptional guest experiences while preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages in a luxury resort environment.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere, enjoys creating memorable guest interactions, and takes pride in providing elevated hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience; luxury resort or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage preparation techniques.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet state minimum age requirements to serve alcohol.
• TIPS certification or equivalent preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to guests at all times.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter orders into the POS system.
• Build rapport with guests and create a welcoming, engaging bar atmosphere.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, garnishes, and preparation methods.
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Ensure the bar is properly set up, clean, organized, and fully stocked before, during, and after service.
• Complete side work including stocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, fruit, and supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to leadership.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with state laws and resort standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout all bar areas.
• Assist fellow team members as needed to support efficient operations and exceptional guest service
