A high-end custom home builder is seeking a full-time site superintendent to coordinate all phases of construction projects in Naples. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in custom home building. Responsibilities include scheduling subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and maintaining job site safety. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment. This position is available immediately with a competitive salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of construction supervisory experience.
• Local experience required and custom homes experience preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs and installation manuals.
• Ability to communicate clearly with the project team and deliver high performance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of construction projects on-site.
• Schedule subcontractors and ensure timely completion.
• Perform quality control duties regarding work performed.
• Maintain daily log of job site activities.
• Maintain daily job site logs and manage punch lists.
• Perform superintendent duties at multiple sites as needed.

Job description

Toscana Homes, a high-end custom home builder in Naples, has a position available for a full-time job site superintendent. The site superintendent will provide on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

The site superintendent shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.

Major Responsibilities of Superintendent

• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
• Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
• Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work.
• Coordinate required job site inspections.
• Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
• Maintain daily log of job site activities.
• Perform Superintendent duties at multiple job sites, as required.
• Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regards to quality of work or scheduling.
• Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
• Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.

Job Requirements

• Minimum five years of construction supervisory experience. Experience building custom homes is preferred. Local experience required.
• Knowledge of Builder Trend software.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, product specifications and installation manuals, safety and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with project team.
• Deliver consistently high performance in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment.
