Confidential in Southwest Florida is seeking an experienced Construction Manager/ Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on multiple high-end custom homes. You will direct subcontractors, maintain schedules, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate with project managers and clients to deliver luxury residences on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a superintendent or construction manager in residential construction.
• Experience with high-end custom homes.
• Knowledge of Florida Building Code and coastal construction practices.
• Ability to read and build to architectural and structural drawings.
• Proven ability to lead subcontractors and manage multiple projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with mobile devices for daily logs and field documentation.

• Maintain the project schedule and ensure deadlines are met.

Company We are an established custom home builder in Southwest Florida, specializing in high-end residential construction. This is an opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager / Superintendent to join our team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic luxury home building company. Our reputation is built on delivering exceptional homes and an equally high level of client service.

Role The Construction Manager leads day-to-day field operations across multiple high-end custom homes, from site preparation through final completion and closeout. Reporting to the project manager, the role directs subcontractors on site, holds the schedule, enforces quality and safety standards, and keeps field documentation accurate and current. The Construction Manager works closely with project managers, assistant project managers, and office staff to keep each build on schedule and on budget. This role calls for a hands-on field leader who takes pride in craftsmanship and understands the level of detail that luxury custom homes demand.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage subcontractor work across multiple job sites

Oversee all on-site construction activity from site preparation through final completion

Maintain the project schedule and ensure trades meet deadlines

Enforce quality standards and verify work matches drawings, specifications, and selections

Schedule inspections and resolve any required corrections

Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness

Sign off on subcontractor invoices once work is complete

Maintain daily logs and job site photos in Buildertrend

Attend meetings and report field status to project managers and internal teams

Conduct site walkthroughs with project managers and clients as needed

Complete punch lists and coordinate with office staff for timely project closeout

Utilize software including Buildertrend, Google Workspace, and related tools

Adhere to all safety, operations, and regulatory compliance policies and procedures

Qualifications

5+ years as a superintendent or construction manager in residential construction

High-end custom home experience strongly preferred

Working knowledge of coastal construction methods and Florida Building Code

Ability to read and build to architectural, structural, and design drawings and specifications

Proven ability to lead and hold subcontractors accountable

Experience managing multiple projects at various stages of construction

Strong prioritization and the ability to meet critical deadlines

Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficient with mobile devices for daily logs, photos, and field documentation

Buildertrend experience a plus
