Job summary

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is seeking a hands‑on Housekeeping Manager to lead operations across hotel rooms, condos, luxury homes, and public spaces. You will ensure service excellence, safety, and financial performance while developing a high performing team and maintaining the resort’s luxury standards.

You will collaborate with leadership, Sales, and executives to drive guest satisfaction, manage budgets, and uphold the resort’s culture of excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s or four‑year degree preferred, and at least 18 years of age
• 1‑2 years of Housekeeping Manager experience overseeing housekeeping operations in a luxury resort setting, including experience working with international staff
• Proven track record of staff development and retention
• Superior customer service training and an outgoing, guest‑focused approach
• Basic mathematical ability
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 5–30 pounds
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, kneeling, bending, climbing, and driving

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations across hotel rooms, condos, luxury homes, public spaces, and dry cleaning
• Develop a capable team through training, mentoring, engagement, and performance feedback
• Ensure safety protocols and conduct regular product and personnel safety audits
• Manage budget, daily financial reports, and payroll processes
• Coordinate with executives and departments; complete administrative deliverables
• Assist Sales with tours, site visits, and upselling experiences for group business
• Maintain guest satisfaction through VIP inspections and timely follow‑ups
