Job summary

Propark Mobility is seeking a guest-focused Valet Cashier for a luxury hotel in Sacramento. You will welcome guests, direct parking, process payments, issue receipts, and maintain secure cash handling, ensuring a premium guest experience.

The ideal candidate has cash-handling and customer service experience, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Part-time hours include PM shifts on weekends, with opportunities to support hospitality operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of cash-handling experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous hospitality, valet, parking, hotel, retail, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Direct guests to appropriate parking areas and assist when parking availability is limited.
• Verify cash banks and required cashier supplies at the beginning of each shift.
• Issue parking tickets and accurately record necessary transaction information.
• Process payments using cash, credit cards, validations, and other accepted payment methods.
• Safeguard all cash and transactions in accordance with company procedures and financial controls.
• Handle exception transactions, including lost tickets, validations, and grace-period tickets.
• Provide accurate change and issue receipts for all transactions.
• Complete daily reports and reconcile transaction records, vehicle counts, validations, and exception tickets.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional cashier station at all times.
• Communicate effectively with valet attendants, hotel staff, and guests to ensure seamless operations.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining luxury service standards.
• Assist with light cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.
• Perform additional tasks and special projects as directed by management.
