Job summary

MPI is seeking a Superintendent to support the redevelopment of a historic building into a 17-story, five-star boutique luxury hotel in Charlotte. This role offers exposure to adaptive reuse challenges on a high-profile hospitality project and requires strong leadership on-site.

Responsibilities include managing daily construction operations, coordinating with subs and suppliers, and ensuring safety, quality, and timely communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction projects, preferably hospitality/renovation
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards on-site
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of construction projects on site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to hit milestones.
• Monitor progress and address issues or delays promptly.
• Ensure safety and quality standards on-site.
• Communicate with clients and team, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Prepare schedules and project documentation.
• Oversee resource allocation to optimize project efficiency.
• Resolve on-site challenges to keep the project on track.
