Job summary

The Hotel Hershey, part of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company, seeks a part-time bartender to craft and describe beverages, take guest orders, and ensure timely service. The role emphasizes premium beverage knowledge, attentive service, and collaboration with kitchen and bar staff in a luxury resort setting.

Candidates should have at least one year in bartending/mixology, be 18+, and may pursue RAMP certification.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
Bartending and/or Mixology experience.
18 years of age or older.
Post-Employment – RAMP certification preferred or ability to obtain upon employment.
Certification of mixology/wine programs and/or seminars.

Responsibilities

Describe the selection of food and beverage menu items to guests with vivid descriptions.
Communicate guests' orders to the kitchen using POS; coordinate timings and verify orders.
Plate and prepare food items and beverages with quick, accurate execution.
Develop and make recommendations for drink lists and customized orders.
Ensure bar presentation, glassware, and stock bar supplies to par levels.
Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
Maintain bank, process payments, complete cashier reports, and reconcile discrepancies.
Keep the side work and work area clean; follow safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with internal and external guests.
Support cleanliness and safety compliance throughout the shift.
Anticipate guests' needs and respond quickly to concerns and requests.
Complete any related duties and tasks assigned.
