Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Washington, DC seeks a dynamic General Manager to lead all hotel operations, elevate guest experiences, and drive profitability with a discerning, luxury-service mindset.

The GM will develop and execute the annual business strategy, oversee revenue management, F&B, rooms and commercial activities, and build a high-performing executive team. This is an executive role with strategic impact and a strong focus on asset stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred; equivalent combination of education and executive hospitality experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive hotel leadership experience, including significant experience in an executive-level hotel leadership role.
• Demonstrated success managing a sophisticated hotel operation with accountability for financial performance, guest experience, commercial strategy, talent, and asset management.
• Strong understanding of hotel financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, labor management, revenue strategy, and capital planning.
• Experience partnering with ownership, asset managers, corporate leadership, brands, and other sophisticated stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all hotel operations.
• Oversee guest experience and luxury service standards.
• Develop annual business strategy, operating plan, capital plan, and financial objectives.
• Maintain accountability for property financial performance, including revenue, profitability, flow-through, and ROI.
• Provide strategic oversight of revenue management, sales, marketing, food & beverage, rooms, and commercial strategy.
• Establish and achieve revenue, market share, profitability, guest satisfaction, and associate engagement objectives.
• Lead executive team and mentor high-performing leaders.
• Maintain visible leadership with guests, associates, partners, and stakeholders.
• Ensure risk management, compliance, and safety across the property.
