The Fashion Island Hotel in Newport Beach, CA seeks a friendly Bartender for Oak Grill. You will craft cocktails, maintain bar set-up, and deliver high-quality service to hotel guests in a luxury resort setting.

The role requires at least one year of bartending experience, California Food Handler Card, and TIPs certification. Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential. This is a full-time position with a dynamic, guest-focused environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• California Food Handler Card required before first day.
• TIPs certification required shortly after beginning employment.
• Minimum one year of bartending experience, preferably in a hotel/resort.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis including requisitioning and stocking liquor, beer, wine, juices, soft drinks, garnishments, condiments and glassware.
• Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredients and prudent portion control.
• Describe products served and make recommendations to guests as requested.
• Handle cash, charge and credit card transactions accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Notify management of safety concerns and guest issues; support emergencies per hotel procedures.
