Job summary

Cosmotek College is seeking a professional Hairstylist to provide luxury salon services, including cutting, coloring, and styling, while guiding clients on product benefits and home care. You will engage with members to understand preferences and build lasting relationships during appointments at a high-end spa environment.

Responsibilities include welcoming clients, performing treatments, and upselling retail products.

Qualifications

• California Cosmetology License is required.
• 2–3 years of professional salon experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of haircutting, coloring, styling, and chemical services.
• Experience with Keratin Treatments and Hair Extensions a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication and consultation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and consult on desired hairstyles.
• Listen to clients to determine preferences.
• Describe hair care products and their benefits.
• Shampoo, cut, color, and highlight hair.
• Offer manicure, pedicure, waxing, and facial services.
• Perform scalp treatments and maintain salon hygiene.
• Sell hair care retail products to clients.
• Manage bookings and store entrances.
• Enter transactions into POS and keep records accurate.
• Build relationships to encourage return visits.
• Adhere to safety protocols and sanitize tools after use.
• Stay updated on hairstyle trends and techniques.
