Job summary

Vesta Home seeks a Repair Specialist to guard our inventory, inspect, repair, and refurbish furniture to showroom standards. You will blend artistic creativity with technical precision to ensure pieces leaving our warehouse are flawless.

Responsibilities include restoration, upholstery, quality control, and safe operation of workshop equipment; collaboration with warehouse, design, and customer service teams is essential to deliver on VIP client expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in furniture repair, woodworking, or upholstery.
• Demonstrated expertise in restoration techniques, including burn-ins, color matching, wood graining, fabric stretching, and structural repairs.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; advanced technical training or certification in furniture restoration is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for design aesthetics to match Vesta Home’s luxury standards.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, bending, and using hands for detailed work; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with exposure to machinery, finishing chemicals, and cleaning materials; adheres to safety precautions.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple repair priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Restoration & Craftsmanship: assess damages on wood, metal, leather, fabric, and upholstery; restore structural integrity and repair finishes.
• Quality Control & Maintenance: inspect furniture for imperfections; apply treatments to enhance durability.
• Operations & Collaboration: operate workshop tools; coordinate with warehouse, customer service, and design teams; assist with assembly/disassembly and general warehouse organization; assist with truck yard operations.
