Job summary

Makena Golf and Beach Club seeks a Dishwasher to join the Food & Beverage Culinary Department. The role focuses on washing dishes, maintaining sanitation, and supporting kitchen operations in a busy, high-end club environment on Maui.

Responsibilities include daily set ups, keeping utensils clean and organized, and ensuring safety and proper chemical storage. The position requires a positive attitude, teamwork, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3 months prior experience at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club.
• Culinary degree/certification or relevant on-the-job experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Clean dishes and maintain sanitation in all kitchen work areas.
• Provide clean utensils and ensure correct storage and drying.
• Maintain safety and chemical storage logs; monitor inventory levels.
• Set up china, glassware and silverware for all outlets daily.
• Work as a team and participate in department briefings as needed.
• Complete opening/closing procedures and report hazards.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order; maintain floors and walls.
