Job summary

Makena Golf & Beach Club in Maui, HI seeks a Dishwasher to join the Food & Beverage Culinary Department. The Dishwasher cleans and maintains dishware, utensils, and kitchen areas, supports safety, and assists with daily kitchen operations to ensure an inspection-ready environment.

Responsibilities include stocking, setup of china and glassware, teamwork, adherence to policies, and participation in department objectives.

Qualifications

• Three months experience at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club.
• Culinary Degree/Certification or relevant on-the-job experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation standards in all kitchen work areas by cleaning dishes and kitchen work areas.
• Provide clean cooking utensils for F&B operations and ensure items are clean, dry, and properly stored.
• Maintain safety and chemical storage; keep concentration logs.
• Daily setup of china, glassware, and silverware for all outlets.
• Participate as a team player with other key team members.
• Complete opening/closing procedures as instructed.
• Assist with departmental objectives and goals.
• Monitor inventory levels through regular checks.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in good working order.
• Report maintenance or hazard issues to the Executive Chef.
