Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Director of Pool and Beach Experience at Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico. Lead all poolside and outdoor operations for a 578-room resort, ensuring service excellence, safety, and maintenance while driving guest satisfaction.

Requirements include 8+ years in luxury resort leadership, a hospitality-related degree, bilingual ability, and strong budgeting, programming, and team-development skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of leadership experience in luxury resort, hospitality, recreation, or F&B operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
• Bilingual.
• Experience managing pool, beach, or resort operations in a high-volume environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
• Financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Direct all pool, beach, cabana, daybed, and outdoor operations.
• Drive revenue through premium experiences, cabana and daybed rentals, F&B, activities, and events.
• Lead resort programming, including family activities and wellness offerings.
• Collaborate with F&B, Marketing, Events, Spa, Guest Services and others to create seamless guest experiences.
• Oversee marketing initiatives that boost guest participation and ancillary revenue.
• Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing team; manage budgets and forecasting.
