Job summary

The Westgate Hotel in San Diego is seeking a Bellperson to deliver luxurious,guest-centric service. You will welcome guests on arrival and departure, assist with luggage, escort guests to rooms, and offer recommendations for local attractions and hotel amenities.

This non-exempt role requires a California driver’s license, flexibility to work varied shifts, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and professionalism at arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with luggage loading and unloading; escort to rooms.
• Provide information on hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and other departments to ensure seamless service.
• Operate hotel vehicles as needed and transport guests safely.
• Log and tag stored luggage; follow security procedures.
• Respond to guest questions with urgency and guest-first mindset.
