Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks an experienced Banquet Chef to lead culinary execution for a luxury resort generating approximately $30 million in annual food revenue. You will oversee banquet production, a four-person culinary team, and ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, organization, and consistency across weddings, conferences, corporate events, social functions, and other resort banquets.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on culinary leader who thrives in a high-volume event environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading banquet operations in luxury/hospitality settings.
• Ability to plan and execute banquet menus consistent with luxury standards.
• Strong cost and labor management in high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute banquet menus and culinary presentations.
• Direct all aspects of banquet production, preparation, plating, buffet presentation, and event execution.
• Review BEOs and coordinate culinary requirements, timelines, staffing, and needs.
• Lead, train, schedule, coach, and develop a four-person culinary team.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, sanitation, and HACCP compliance.
• Manage food and labor costs through purchasing, portion control, and inventory management.
• Collaborate with Sales and Events to accommodate customized menus and special requests.
• Ensure smooth execution of high-volume functions with leadership teams.
