Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of McKinney, a Sonic Automotive Dealership, seeks a qualified Service Technician to perform repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards. You will supervise apprentices and ensure service quality and safety.

The role requires ASE or manufacturing training and at least 2 years of luxury vehicle technician experience, plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass pre-employment checks. Training and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• ASE or manufacturing training.
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a Luxury vehicle technician.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with accuracy.
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is needed.
• Document work performed.
• Road-test vehicles when required.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
