Fields Auto Group in Jacksonville is seeking a positive team member to join our dynamic dealership. Our goal is to provide a luxury experience to both our internal and external customers and create lifelong relationships.

You will manage and oversee office staff, oversee accounting functions, prepare financial statements, and ensure timely monthly reporting. The role also covers payroll, vendor management, tax compliance, and coordination with auditors, with opportunities to improve processes

Qualifications

• Experience in a car dealership is required.
• Strong computer skills and experience with business applications.
• Experience with CDK or similar dealership software preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee office staff, including hiring, coaching, counseling, disciplining, terminating, etc.
• Oversight of accounting functions and related information
• Responsible for all aspects of the general ledger
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and monthly reports in a timely manner
• Understanding of the payroll process and related tax systems
• Oversees vendor management and outsourcing
• Complies with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filing
• Inspect accounting records and schedules for efficiency and accuracy
• Organize and update financial records
• Perform various monthly reconciliations
• Assist in preparing documentation for external auditors
• Performs other duties or projects as assigned.
