Job summary

Naked Wardrobe, a global luxury womenswear and streetwear brand, is seeking an Apparel Sample Maker to translate design concepts into high-quality prototypes. You will sew initial prototypes, collaborate with patternmakers, designers, and production to refine fit and construction, and maintain a well-organized sample room in a fast-paced studio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of garment sewing and sample-making experience in womenswear.
• Exceptional sewing, construction, and finishing skills for knit and woven fabrics.
• Ability to interpret patterns, technical drawings, and tech packs accurately.
• Strong knowledge of garment fit and drape.
• Excellent time management and ability to pivot quickly across styles and revisions.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable in a small, high-output team.

Responsibilities

• Sew and construct initial prototypes and samples based on patterns and tech packs.
• Collaborate with Patternmakers, Design, Technical Design and Production to refine each prototype for fit and quality.
• Handle delicate and specialty fabrics with craftsmanship.
• Iterate on samples based on feedback of fit and design.
• Maintain order in the sample room and keep equipment clean and organized.
• Assist with basic cutting and pressing as needed.
