Freelance Sample Maker - Jackets, Wholesale Apparel

Premier Brands Group Holdings is seeking a Freelance Sample Maker for jackets and wholesale apparel. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Sew various types of garments (jackets, pants, skirts, blouses, and dresses) in a timely manner.
• Communicate with floor supervisors, cutters, and patternmakers to ensure garments are sewn correctly with attention to detail.
• Apply all finishing details of garments (buttons, snaps, top stitching, pic stitching, hardware).
• Operate various specialty machines (button-hole, key-hole, snap, cover stitch, marrow, and blind stitch).
• Press all finished garments, eliminating wrinkles and adding creases as required without hard pressing.
• Read and comprehend cutter musts for garment construction and details.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of sewing experience handling various types of garments and fabrics.
• Experience operating various specialty machines (marrow, blind stitch, cover stitch, buttonhole, and keyhole).

Salary Range: $29.00/hr - $33.00/hr. Actual base salary for this role will be based upon experience, qualifications, and assigned unit.
