Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a community manager at a 150+ unit community.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• CPM/CAM certifications strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; leasing and maintenance coordination.

Responsibilities

• Motivates and empowers staff to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Plans and conducts weekly staff meetings.
• Manages leasing activity to meet budgeted goals and sets weekly targets.
• Provides team leadership and accountability for results.
• Coaches staff; ensures clear job expectations across the team.
• Cultivates positive relationships with tenants to improve satisfaction.
• Handles elevated resident issues to improve resident satisfaction.
• Schedules staff; plans vacations and business needs.
• Oversees local marketing strategy and coordinates with corporate Marketing.
• Stays current on market issues and competitive information.
• Manages income and expenses to meet the operational budget; approves expenditures.
• Generates property-wide communications to residents.
• Assists in preparing the operational budget.
• Inspects common areas, amenities, and vacant apartments for cleanliness.
