Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Tailor to perform alterations, resizing, and restyling of luxury merchandise across its stores. You will assist fitters with fit, alterability, and structural quality of apparel, ensuring craftsmanship meets the high Neiman Marcus standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a tailoring operation or industrial sewing environment.
• Ability to read English and follow instructions from leadership.
• Basic math for measurement conversions.

Responsibilities

• Alter garments to Neiman Marcus quality standards.
• Adjust seams, shoulders, and sleeves for proper fit.
• Rotate sleeves and shorten lengths as required.
• Shorten coats, reline, or adjust pockets.
• Operate and maintain sewing equipment.
• Self-inspect finished work for quality.
• Complete tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Lead.
• Interpret written and oral instructions.
