Job summary

The Westshore Grand, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Tampa, is seeking an On Call Valet Attendant to warmly greet guests, open doors, park and retrieve vehicles, and assist with luggage and transportation needs. You will help ensure a smooth guest arrival and departure experience and provide directions to local attractions.

Prior hotel experience is preferred and a professional appearance is required. The role requires physical effort including lifting up to 75 lbs, strong customer service skills,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Professional appearance and manners at all times.
• Ability to communicate with guests and provide directions to local attractions.
• Ability to drive vans, trucks and cars manual and automatic.
• Excellent driving record as verified by MVR.
• Ability to read luggage tags and write numbers on claim checks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, warm welcome and open doors.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles promptly and courteously.
• Use claim tickets to document vehicle details and damage.
• Assist guests with luggage handling and delivery to rooms.
• Explain hotel facilities and hours of operation to guests.
• Hail taxis and assist with transportation needs as required.
• Operate guest transport services, including airport shuttles if provided.
