Job summary

Mandara Spas is seeking a professional Massage Therapist to deliver superior massage therapy and home-care guidance. You will create a restful, luxurious guest experience that supports high retention and increased spa sales.

Ideal candidates hold a current massage license, have trained at an accredited school, and understand anatomy and technique effects to tailor services for each guest. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid license to perform massage services.
• Must have trained at an accredited/approved massage school.
• Thorough understanding of body anatomy and the effects of techniques to determine contraindications.
• Must interact professionally and with sensitivity to guests and co-workers.
• Demonstrates commitment to high quality massage therapy for guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain the highest standards of massage therapy and recommendations for home care.
• Create a feeling of rest and relaxation for spa guests, driving high retention and increased sales.
• Ensure safety by understanding contraindications and selecting beneficial services for each guest.
• Be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled by Spa Director.
