Job summary

Tailwater Lodge, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, invites an energetic Esthetician to join our spa team in a part-time position on Fridays through Mondays, with evenings until 7:00 PM and weekends. The resort sits on the Salmon River with a full-service spa featuring five treatment rooms, saunas, and salon services.

You will perform facial treatments, waxing, skin analysis, and product recommendations while upholding sanitation standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Esthetics/Cosmetology License required.
• Skilled in professional skincare treatments and facial waxing.
• Previous experience in a luxury spa or salon environment preferred.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused personality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, professional facial treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
• Analyze guests' skin and recommend appropriate facial treatments and home care products.
• Explain treatments and retail products to guests and promote retail sales.
• Perform waxing services while following all safety and sanitation standards.
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies before each shift.
• Maintain treatment rooms, work areas, and spa facilities in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition.
• Submit supply requests to the Spa Manager to ensure product availability.
• Stay current on industry trends, products, services, and treatment techniques.
• Ensure every guest receives exceptional service and maintain positive guest relationships.
• Be knowledgeable about all spa services, retail products, promotions, and Tailwater Lodge amenities.
• Uphold all sanitation, sterilization, and safety standards in accordance with New York State regulations and spa policies.
• Handle confidential guest information with professionalism and discretion.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Report maintenance or guest concerns promptly to the Spa Manager.
• Support the spa's hospitality philosophy by working collaboratively with all team members.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate property information through daily email and internal communications.
• Comply with all departmental and company policies and procedures.
