Job summary

5 Star Co-Host is seeking a Property Care Specialist to maintain guest-ready South Shore homes. You’ll drive between Scituate and Plymouth area properties, service hot tubs, manage trash, perform light maintenance, and catch issues early with vendors.

The role is flexible, part-time with an as-needed schedule, primarily 10 AM–4 PM, weekends possible for turnovers. Hours vary seasonally; occasional same-day coverage is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a hands-on property maintenance or similar role.
• Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle and auto insurance.
• Willingness to drive between properties daily.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all seasons.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Service hot tubs: chemical testing, water balancing, filter cleaning, inspections.
• Manage trash and waste: curbside and turnover-day duties.
• Walk properties between stays, prep for storms or seasonal changes.
• Handle light maintenance: replace batteries, bulbs, fixtures; document issues.
• Assist with smart-home tech installs under direction from core team.
• Coordinate repairs by meeting vendors on site and collecting information.
• Support quality control with Lead Housekeeper and inspections when needed.
• Communicate updates via Slack, Turno, and apps throughout the day.
