The Mather, a luxury senior living community in Tysons, VA, is seeking a full-time Pastry Cook to craft desserts and baked goods from scratch for four on-site restaurants and events. You will uphold HACCP standards and contribute to visually appealing presentations for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of baking experience in professional kitchens.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and work with HACCP standards.
• Formal culinary training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares baked goods, desserts and pastries according to cycle menus.
• Precuts and portions baked goods for consistent servings.
• Supports catering requests with timely, professional preparation.
• Ensures high-quality presentation and eye appeal of desserts.
• Assists with equipment cleaning and kitchen sanitation per HACCP.
