Job summary

Whitman Family Development, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Tech to preserve the pristine appearance, safety, and functionality of Bal Harbour Shops. The role ensures the property remains clean, well-maintained, and operating to the highest luxury standards that guests expect.

The Maintenance Tech will perform daily inspections, handle basic repairs, and support landscaping and seasonal decor. This is an outdoor-focused, guest-facing position in a fast-paced luxury environment requiring attention

Qualifications

Prior maintenance or facilities experience preferred in hospitality, retail, or luxury environments.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform daily inspections of the property including walkways, restrooms, landscaping, lighting, and common areas.
Maintain cleanliness of outdoor and indoor spaces; perform trash removal and spot cleaning.
Conduct basic repairs (pavers, drywall, faucets, doors, railings, benches, signage).
Assist with minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical tasks as assigned.
Monitor safety hazards and maintenance needs; report promptly.
