Job summary

California Closets of Richmond, VA is seeking an Installation Tech to install custom storage systems for homes and small offices. You will work with CAD drawings, measure spaces, and install closets, cabinets and offices with quality craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with common hand and power tools.
• Cabinetry or carpentry experience desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Ability to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry to install closets, cabinets, offices and other spaces.
• Use CAD drawings/blueprints to install systems properly.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assist in removal and installation of materials in client homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order.
• Install systems independently or with a team as needed.
• Provide high level of in-home customer service.
• Maintain safety standards at all times.
• Drive to and from customer sites using company vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
